"Integrity without knowledge is weak and useless, and knowledge without integrity is dangerous and dreadful", quoted Samuel Johnson. Integrity in the eyes of a teenager means not cheating in class, obeying and respecting school rules, and finishing and completing anything assigned in school.

When in class, teenagers have plenty of opportunities to cheat during tests, quizzes and other assignments. Integrity means not taking advantage of these opportunities and being honest towards yourself and others. Without any integrity, most people would copy other people's work and be dishonest. Since most students show integrity, cheating is not as big of a problem as it could be, but there are some students who thrive on cheating. If all students had integrity, many more would be successful.

Samuel Golden once said: "Having integrity means being completely true to what is inside you – to what you know is right what you feel you must do, regardless of the immediate cost of sacrifice to be honorable and to behave decently." The quote tells people that it is best to behave and act as they always have. People should not do things that do not allow them to be true to themselves. Kids constantly do stupid and irrational things around their friends, but when they are by themselves they usually act using their inner-selves as a guide. People with common sense do things that they know are right. If people complete tasks and sacrifice less of themselves, they can improve their integrity.

Art of Being Non Judgemental

Its human nature that we had certain pre conceived notions (PCN) about an individual no matter how much time we spend with each other, how much we know about his/her life. These pre conceived notions hinders a free interaction b/w human beings. Either you or me, we all have certain PCN about one or another person. These PCNs about an individual are formed gradually either by listening from other about his/him or by our incomplete observation or interaction about that individual. These PCN are great barrier to make new relationship. 

Whenever we start a new relationship (apart from family ties) we categorize that individual as per some criteria in our mind.  Than we judge that individual from that parameters and come out with conclusion that person is bad, proudy, egoistic, drunker, smoker, and bla blaa blaa.

As per my life experience, each of person with whom I spend some quality time, shared some experiences or moments is very close to my heart. Though I am bit novice in showing my feeling of love and care with the help of words, still some person who had got a chance to work with me or had shared some common moments will be able to understand my feeling of love and care. It's very difficult to be good for everyone everytime. It's also difficult to be good for one all the time because of human temperaments. We all are human and off course we all are imperfect and we all are dependent on each other for one or another things. Some of us are good at something and others are good at other things; Hereby we creates a balance in our journey of life. Every individual is unique and has different strengthes and weaknesses. 

Every individual is product of situations, circumstances and experiences which one have throughout journey of life. What we needed is before pointing someone, we need to learn good things from others and try to inculcate in ourself. If we will continuously work for self improvement,  we will be able to enjoy live with less complains. Life is too short for making complains, jealousy, fighting, back bitching, being envious and covetous. We always have to focus on positively than only we will be able to love others. I always try to love and accept people as they are and this way a healthy relationship develops.

नमो कुरुक्षेत्र

मैने एक पुस्तक पढ़ी जिसका नाम था- नमो कुरुक्षेत्र जो कि पंतनगर विश्व विद्यालय के एक प्राध्यापक डॉक्टर शिवेंद्र कश्यप जी ने लिखी है। पुस्तक में महाभारत के वृतांतों के माध्यम से युवा पीढ़ी के मन में उठने वाले अनेक द्वंदों के लिए सरल उत्तर दिए गये हैं। कुछ पंक्तियाँ जिन्होंने मुझे प्रभावित किया इस प्रकार है-

1. बड़े त्याग के लिए वही आगे आते हैं जो सबसे प्रतिभावान, चमकते हुए, सर्व श्रेष्ठ होते हैं। जिनके पास कम होता है, वे घबराते है बाँटते हुए।

2. जैसे घी डाल डालकर अग्नि बुझाने की कल्पना करना मुर्खता है, वैसे भी इच्छाओं की पूर्ती कर-कर के खुश और संतुष्ट रहने की कोशिश करना मुर्खता है।

3. ज्यादा अर्जित करने या कुछ बड़ा कर के दिखाने के मुकाबले देश और समाज को ज्यादा लौटा पाने की प्रतिबद्धता और इच्छा मनुष्य को राष्ट्र निर्माता बनाती है।

4. जीवन में प्रतिभा का महत्व कम और उद्देश्य का महत्व ज्यादा है।

5. अच्छाई - सच्चाई के मार्ग पर अनेकों संघर्ष हैं पर सच्चे योद्धा तूफानों से विचलित नही होते। प्रतिरोध उनका सोपान है और पराजय उनकी प्रेरणा, प्रतिकूलता उनकी सहचरी है और स्पर्धा उनका रोमांच।

6. ना कोई किसी को सिखा पाया ना कोई किसी से सीख पाया । जो जान गया उसे सीखने से कौन रोक पाया है ? जो जागने को तैयार ना हो उसे कौन सिखा पाया ?

7. जीवन का सबसे बड़ा संकट है प्रतिबद्धता का आभाव । बहुत से लोग प्रतिभावान होकर भी अपने सपनों को मूर्तरूप नही दे पाते, क्योंकि वे सपने तो देखते है पर सपनों को हकीकत बनाने की कीमत नहीं चुकाना चाहते।

8. जब सीखने की उत्कंठा इस हद तक हो जाये कि सारी सीमाएं महत्वहीन लगने लगे और आप उस विषय के साथ खेलने लगे, वह विधा संगीत बनकर आपकी नसों में झनझनाने लगे, वह ज्ञान स्वयं को आपके सामने अनावृत करने लगे, उसके अभ्यास की अति भी आपको आनंद ही आनंद दे, तो समझें आप उसकी गहराई तक जा रहे है। फिर आपको किसी बाहरी गुरु की आवश्यकता नहीं रहेगी। आप जो करेंगे वो अद्भुत होगा।

9. स्वयं पर अपरिमित विश्वास रखते हुए जीवन के हर कठिन पल को अपनी अग्नि परीक्षा मानते हुए बढ़ते चले जाने की अदम्य इच्छा शक्ति ही जीवन है।

10. कृष्णा सबके अपने थे पर किसी के प्रति आसक्त नही थे, उन्हें आसक्ति है तो जीवन लक्ष्य से। इसी प्रकार हमारे जीवन में भी संबंध जैसे पारिवारिक, मित्रों से संबंध, स्थान से संबंध, वस्तुओं से संबंध आदि महत्वपूर्ण है, पर सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण है जीवन लक्ष्य।

11. कृष्ण का प्रथमतः अर्थ है जीवन का वह सत्य जो आसक्ति- विरक्ति से परे है और जो हमारे अनादि-अनन्त स्वरूप का आभाव और स्मरण कराता रहता है। कठिनाइयां तो सबके जीवन में आती है पर उन्हें अपनी शक्ति और प्रेरणा बना लेने की क्षमता का नाम है कृष्ण।

हर संभव चुनौतियों को सहर्ष स्वीकार करने का नाम है कृष्ण।

कश्मीरी पंडित

कुछ दिनों पूर्व मैंने कश्मीरी पंडितों के विस्थापन की एक documentry देखी, जिसमें इस दर्दनाक वाकये का जिक्र एक पत्रकार ने कुछ इस प्रकार किया गया था:

तुमको सुनायी देती हैं बनावटी चीखे
खामोशियों का चीखना तो अभी बाँकी हैं,
फर्श पर अगर हक तुम्हारा हैं तो
मेरा अर्श अभी बाकी हैं,
भले ही लकीरे खीच दो तुम ज़मी पर
