Matargashti

Exam time is always followed with stress in a students life. But this was not the case this time. Actually we were planning to watch Tamasha movie since its release, but unfortunately couldn't make it. So today we plan for watching this movie, though I was not sure whether we will go or not.
I was sleeping till 12 O'clock noon, than my friend wake me up and told we have to go for 12:55 pm show. I than wake up, I performed daily morning task in noon. Than we went for the movie though we were having outing time from 4-6 pm. But we broke the rule (as rules are ment to be broken), I covered my face with stole and we came out from our jail cum hostel. I have covered my face but my friend didn't, as she didn't like to compromise with her looks. So, I was bit afraid of seeing by hostel warden or any other staff. But nothing like this happen. We reach at 1 pm at inox. We got the ticket @75/ticket, as it was Wednesday. We rush towards escilator because we thought we are late. In excitement, my friend slipped near escelator stairs, But immediately she came up and we reached inside theater.
Movie was about to start so we took a long breath and thanks god for being on time. Movie was awesome. It truely represent how each human being is running in a race without knowing his/her real interest.
We enjoyed the movie and feel that we are hungry. Next we planned to have food in a restaurant called "Goverdhan thal" near Udaipol railway station. We took a personal auto @50 after negotiation. When we reached to our destination, we pay money. One intersting thing happens. My friend pays a thanks  to auto driver with this blessing "may your child stood first in the class". It was random and bring smile on face of autowala. As we came near to the gate of restaurant, one restaurant guy open the gate for us, we feel special. We went inside the restaurant and have meal.
Than we came back to jail cum hostel and after taking rest prepared ourselves to study.
And one more beautiful day of my life passed on.

2-12

2 Dec 1992, the day when I was born. Today I completed 23 years of my life. When I was born I had a family of 4 members. Now when I am 23 years old, I came to realize that my family size have grown up from earlier.
According to definition of family its a group of people connected with the the bond of birth, marriage and adoption. When I look at this bookish definition, I found it incomplete. As per my experience, family not only encompasses the above mentioned persons but also persons with whom you are connected by heart, whom we generally defined as friends.
I think they are the most important and valuable part of once family. I don't know why friends has been excluded from the definition of family.
In my life, I think I have lived most valuable or I can say golden part of my life with friends (Juniors and seniors are too included in this list).. I think I would have learned most of the things from them, I would have committed most of my mistake with them, I would have made several blunders with them, and I would have improved my personlity the most with them.. No doubt parents play a very important role in once life (I am not denying) but the role friends play no one other can.
I realized this thing on this birthday, I don't know whether I am too late to realize it.. But it happened with me. It is a bond which is without selfishness.. You celebrates others happiness even if you are passing through a bad phase of your life, You feel upset when something wrong happens with your friend, You feel hurt if someone hurt your friend, You fight with others on part of her/his. Her favourite ice cream slowly becomes yours favourite. Her choice also now a part of your choices. Her/his favourite vegetable now becoming you're favourite. Your happiness, emotion, mood and behavior get affected by her/his life. You tries to copy her/his good habits.
You consider her/his success or failure as yours. You are more concerned about booking her tatkal ticket rather than your own class. You are more concerned about making an e transaction for her/him as deadline is approaching. You are more happy on her/his birthday. You knows all her/his strengths and weaknesses and still u love and care her/him without applying any terms and conditions. You laugh, when they. You cry with them.  In short they are now integrated part of your life without loosing your own indentity.

I don't know whether this feeling is common or not, but I have this feeling very strongly. And every time I enjoy it. I don't know why our surrounding inculcates the habit of competition with others since childhood. Due to this child wastes her/his whole life in competing with others, cannot able to develop the true bond of friendship. I thing rather than competing with any other person we have to compete with ourself. We have to challenge our own limits. Than this bond of friendship will flourish and nobody will feel her/himself alone (As most of the people who feel alone had families). Life will be more exciting and beautiful..

So cheers for the bond of friendship....

A way towards PEACE

Most people live whether physically, intellectually or morally- in a very restricted circle of their potential being. We all have reservoir of life to drew upon of which we do not dream.
                         - William James

In the book entitled "The Monk who sold his Ferrari" by Robin Sharma, the great sages of Shivana told a feble to Julian. Julian was a famous law practitioner, who got heart attack in the middle of court room due to the hyper- competitive legal professional world. Then he took retirement from his legal world and he went to the Sages of Sivana in order to find out peace. The great Yogi Raman told a feble to Julian Mental.

In that feble, he told about a garden, which was a symbol for the human mind.
The sages of Shivana told certain benefitial things like which I would like to share:

If you care about your mind, if you nurture it and if you cultivate it like a fertile, rich garden, it will blossom far beyond your expectations. But if you let the weed take root, lasting peace of mind and deep inner harmony will always elude you.
Look at the toxic waste that most people put into the fertile garden of their minds every single days: the worries and anxieties, the fretting about the past, the brooding over the future and those self-created fears that wreak havoc within your inner world. In the native language of the Sages of Sivana, the written character for worry is strikingly similar to the character symbolizing a funeral pyre. Worry drains the mind of much of its power and, sooner or later, it injures the soul.

To live the life to the fullest, you must stand guard at the gate of your garden and let only the very best information enter. You can not afford the luxury of a negative thought- not even one. We all come from the same universal source. However, the ones who do more than just exist, the one who fan the flames of their human potential and truely savor the magical dance of life do different things than those whose life are ordinary.

The sages taught Julian that on an average day the average person runs about sixty thousand thoughts through her mind. What really amazing was, that ninty five percent of those thoughts were the same as the once you thought a day before.

This is the tyranny of impoverished thinking. Those people who think the same thought every day, most of them negative, have fallen into bad mental habits. Rather than focusing on all the good in their lives and thinking of ways to make things even better, they are captives of their past. Those who run their mind in  this fashion are allowing worry to rob them of their life force. They are blocking the enormous potential of their minds to work magic and deliver into their lives all that they want emotionally, physically and even spiritually. These people never realize that mind management is the essence of life management.

These things are truely relevant in present day life, which is full of worries and anxieties. So friend.s, it is up to you what kind of life you wants.??

Navratra and Dandiya

Navratri is a festival of Ma Durga and it is celebrated entutiastically in India. In India, women are worshipped in many forms like Durga, Ambe, Gaura, Laxmi, Saraswati and many more. Navrata is dedicated to nine form of Ma Durga known as Navadurga viz. Shailputri, Brahamcharini, Chandraghanta, Katyayani, Kushmanda, Skandmata, Kaalratri, Mahagauri and Sidhidatri. This festivals brings a lots of positivity and creates a kind of serene environment. You can hear bhajan of goddess Durga in the morning and evening time. Similar kind of bhajans are sung in our hostel too. In every corridor you can enjoy the music dedicated to Mata Rani... Jor say bolo, Jai mata di... People used to keep fast for nine days and I am one among them..

Dandiya is of prime importance during Navratra. In this festive season you will find people collectively performing Dandiya. Dandiya is a traditional folk dance from Gujarat. This dance is performed with the help of two stick and performed by both male and female. This Navratra I got this golden opportunity to perform dandiya which was organized by personnel from univerty staff quarter. They welcomed us, as we were hostlers and rearly got such kind of outings. I performed Dandiya for the first time and enjoyed it a lot. I was astonished by the perfomance of kids (below 10 years), these kids were dancing in a manner which I was unable. Though I tried hard to learn it.. Initially, I did couple of wrong steps which later on I tried to improve. Sometime stick hitting on    fingers and causing little pain as I was novice in that..  We performed 5 step Dandiya, which was not too difficult.. So after dancing for one and half hour, finally I learned some of its basics. I realized this form of dance requires lots of energy and call for a good stamina. I feel very light, positive and relexed. For the short period, I was completely immersed in performing dance and forgot all problems.. There was a continuous smile on my face.. I wish that smile on my face and positivity in the heart will be continue......Jai Mata Di.. :)

I WILL FLY

While I was reading a book by Dr. Kalam, I came across with some very effective line which I would like to share. These lines are written by Persian Sufi poet which was quoted by Dr. Kalam

I WILL FLY

I am born with potential

i am born with goodness and trust

i am born with ideas and dreams

i am born with greatness

i am born with confidence

I am born with wings

So I am not meant for crawling

I have wings, I will fly

I will fly and fly..

DELIVER ME FROM FEAR

I read this inspiring poem written by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. These lines always inspire me. So I am sharing it with you all..

Poem was titled-

DELIVER ME FROM FEAR

 I am not alone,

God is always with me.

If God is for me,

Who can be against?

I sought the Lord, he heard me,

Deliver me from all fears.

Divine cure and divine light penetrated into me,

And cured my pain in body and soul.

Divinity beauty enters into me,

and blossoms into happiness,

When God is for me,

Who can be against?
